Horrifying Assault in Broad Daylight!
In a shocking incident that has left the community rattled, police in Surrey are urgently seeking the public's assistance to identify a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman on her way to a bus stop.
The Surrey Police Service reported that the attack occurred Tuesday morning on King George Boulevard near 98 Avenue. The victim was simply heading towards her bus stop when a man approached her under the pretense of needing to use her phone.
When she refused, the situation escalated dramatically. The man allegedly forced her into a nearby bush and sexually assaulted her.
"Thankfully, the victim managed to fight back against her attacker, sustaining only minor injuries, as he fled the scene heading north," stated Sgt. Tige Pollock in a news release.
Suspect Description Released!
Authorities have released images of the suspect, and they describe him as a tall, thin individual with black hair. Notably, he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, maroon shorts, and distinctive black and white shoes.
This incident has raised concerns among residents, and anyone with information about this terrifying assault or the suspect's identity is urged to come forward.
