The potential exposure took place at the emergency department of the QEII hospital on **Sunday, September 7**, between **10:45 p.m. and 1:20 a.m.**, and in the hospital's diagnostic imaging area on **Monday, September 8**, from **9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.**

Nova Scotia Health has emphasized that, despite the situation, the risk to the general public remains **low**, thanks to high vaccination rates and previous infections. However, those who were present at the exposure sites during the specified times, particularly pregnant women, individuals with compromised immune systems, and children under 12, are urged to contact public health services immediately. They may qualify for Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), a preventive measure against measles after potential exposure.
