In a bold move, the league announced the addition of two new teams and 18 roster spots, bringing fresh talent and excitement to the court.

Mark your calendars for January 2026! That's when Unrivaled will welcome the Hive Basketball Club and the Breeze Basketball Club. Each team will feature six talented players ready to compete. Additionally, a development pool of six players will be available throughout the season, providing crucial backup during injuries.

Unrivaled president Alex Bazzell shared that the league anticipated expansion after the third season, saying, "We’re just so far ahead of schedule, there’s no reason for us to wait." This expansion aims to provide a home for as many outstanding players as possible while maintaining the quality of the league.

Game Nights Galore!

To accommodate the new teams and players, Unrivaled will expand its game broadcast nights. Last season was primarily focused on Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays. With the additional game day, the league will also eliminate back-to-back games, offering players better recovery time after an intense WNBA regular season.

Returning Stars and New Faces!

In an exciting twist, almost all players from the inaugural season will be returning, with 30 players already signed to two-year contracts. Star player Paige Bueckers, from the Dallas Wings, is notable among the newcomers with a three-year deal.
