This publicly accessible resource is set to transform research in plant cell types, developmental processes, and how plants adapt to stress and environmental shifts.

According to Joseph Ecker, a leading researcher and professor at the Salk Institute, "We have made tremendous strides in plant biology, but until recently, technological limitations hindered our ability to thoroughly catalog cell types and their gene expressions across various developmental stages. Our study bridges that gap, creating a foundational dataset for most cell types, tissues, and organs throughout Arabidopsis' life cycle."
