Launched on Saturday, Carney’s initiative is all about encouraging Canadians to dive deep into their stunning country. “From national parks to historic sites, art galleries to Canadian trails, we want to make sure our youth can experience everything Canada has to offer this summer,” Carney announced.

What’s Included? Free Perks Galore!

The Canada Strong Pass will grant free access to national galleries and museums for children and teens under 18. Families will also benefit as kids can ride VIA Rail at no cost when accompanied by a parent! Plus, from June to August 2025, young Canadians aged 18 to 24 can enjoy discounted access and fares.

To further sweeten the deal, national park camping fees will be reduced, making it even easier for families to embrace the great outdoors!

Last week, Carney also hinted at making national parks and historic sites free this summer. On social media, he emphasized Canada’s steadfast dedication to NATO, confirming increased defense spending to support allies and keep Canada robust.
