Third Annual Celebration for a Healthier Future!

This marks the third annual observance of Canadian Viral Hepatitis Elimination Day by Niagara Health. It complements their well-known World Hepatitis Day gathering at Montebello Park in St. Catharines, scheduled for Friday, July 25.

Understanding Hepatitis C: Know the Risks!

Hepatitis C, primarily transmitted through infected blood, poses serious health risks, including cirrhosis, liver failure, and liver cancer when left untreated. However, it is highly treatable—early testing can lead to effective solutions!

Support from Compassionate Professionals!

The event will also feature dedicated nurses and outreach team members from the Hepatitis C Care Clinic and various local partners who will be on-site to offer resources and support to attendees. Karen Usick, a Registered Nurse and Community Coordinator, stated, "Education is key to prevention. Everyone deserves the chance to live a healthy, informed life!"
