Ukraine Takes Bold Action: Strikes Key Russian Rocket Fuel Facility to Protect Civilians!

In a significant move aimed at diminishing the Russian military’s capabilities, the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed on December 26 that it successfully targeted a crucial military-industrial complex located in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov region. According to the report via Telegram from Ukraine's Strategic Communications (AFU StratCom), Russian forces utilized the Kamensky Combine to manufacture solid missile fuel specifically designed for attacks on vulnerable Ukrainian targets, including hospitals, residential buildings, and power stations. 'This strike is part of a broader campaign to weaken the Russian Armed Forces’ ability to carry out terrorist attacks against Ukrainian civilians,' the report emphasized.

The strike reportedly relates to events from December 18, when the Russian Ministry of Defense acknowledged that this significant plant had come under attack. The Kamensky Combine, which produces both civilian and military-grade chemical products, was recently added to the European Union’s 15th sanctions package due to its alleged role in supplying chemical components for weapon production. Notably, the EU observed a substantial surge in the plant’s defense orders following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Ukrainian security officials, including Andriy Kovalenko from the National Security and Defense Council, underscored the facility’s importance in creating solid fuel components for various weaponry, including multiple-launch rocket systems and intercontinental ballistic missiles.
