As Provincial Offences Officers, inspectors will don a modernized uniform featuring a sleek grey shirt and vest, continuing their vital role of issuing fare evasion tickets, which range from **$245 to $425**.

While the TTC benefits from various government funding sources, a remarkable **42%** of its operating budget depends directly on the fare box—far more than other public transit systems in Ontario.
