Tragic Stabbing in Scarborough: Man in His 60s Dies, Woman Arrested

In a shocking incident on Tuesday evening, a man in his 60s lost his life following a brutal stabbing inside an apartment building in Scarborough. The violent occurrence took place in the West Hill neighbourhood, specifically at 4301 Kingston Rd., near Galloway Road, just south of Lawrence Avenue East.

Toronto police were alerted to the scene around 6:50 p.m. after receiving reports of an individual wielding an "edged weapon." Upon arrival, officers discovered the man with severe stab wounds.

Insp. Jon Rose, addressing the press, mentioned that immediate life-saving efforts were attempted by first responders, but, sadly, the victim succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. Currently, his identity has not been released.
