A Devastating Collision in Hamilton

In a heartbreaking incident on Tuesday, emergency responders rushed to the scene of a serious car crash in Hamilton, where six teenagers and one adult were hospitalized with injuries ranging from minor to critical.

The collision unfolded just before 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Valens Road and Concession 5 West in the Flamborough area of the city. The accident involved a KIA minivan carrying the young passengers and a Volvo commercial vehicle.

"All six occupants of the KIA—a driver and five teenagers—were transported to nearby hospitals," police stated in a news release on Wednesday. "Their injuries vary greatly, with one young girl in a life-threatening condition."

Lone Adult Driver in Hospital

The adult male driving the Volvo was also taken to the hospital as a safety measure, though his condition appears stable.
