In a recent interview, Paul Yan, co-studio head and creative director, hinted at exciting developments ahead. While discussing their ongoing projects, he emphasized the studio's eagerness to collaborate with Xbox to bring Banjo and Kazooie back into the gaming spotlight.

"One company we'd love to work with is Team Xbox! They have a fantastic lineup of characters, and let's be real—Banjo has been hibernating long enough!" Yan exclaimed.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, the possibility of a Banjo-Kazooie revival feels more like a question of when, rather than if. Following their split from Activision in 2023, Toys for Bob continues to maintain a close collaboration with Xbox and is reportedly working on a project that many speculate to be Spyro the Dragon 4.
