A shocking stabbing incident unfolded in North York on Monday night, leaving one man rushed to the hospital with severe injuries.

The violent event took place in the Oakdale-Beverley Heights neighborhood, specifically at 1746 Wilson Ave., right near Haymarket Road and just east of Highway 400.

Toronto police received frantic calls about the incident around 9:22 p.m., reporting a male victim found with a stab wound.

Paramedics quickly arrived and rushed the injured man to the hospital. Initially, there were fears his injuries might be life-threatening. However, police later confirmed that his condition is now non-life-threatening.

As authorities continue their investigation, they are on the lookout for the suspect—described as a Black male in his 50s, sporting black and grey braids. Witnesses report that he was last seen wearing a black Adidas suit paired with a white shirt.
