This event promises to be a gamer’s paradise with over 20,000 square feet dedicated to gaming tournaments, vendors, cosplay contests, and much more.

For just $10, you can secure your admission. Want to level up your experience? Opt for 'super admission' at $20, which includes one tournament entry, or go all out with 'super admission 64' for $30, granting access to all three tournaments. And for families, children under 10 can join in the fun for free!

The Visionary Team Behind the Convention

Jared Dormer, one of the co-organizers, passionately shared the origins of this exciting event. After two years of brainstorming with friends Andrew Fath, Scott Benson, and Jared Robinson, their modest plans morphed into a sprawling convention thanks to an outpouring of community support.

Creating a Local Gaming Hub!

Since many conventions they attended were far from home and often overlooked retro gaming, the group seized the opportunity to create something local. Initial plans to cater to just a handful of vendors blossomed into a collaboration with more than 40 vendors joining from across Saskatchewan!

Honoring Vendors as the Heart of the Event

Dormer emphasized his commitment to treating the vendors ‘like gold,’ understanding they are the lifeblood of the event. That’s why they’ve kept admission prices low, ensuring attendees can enjoy shopping at vendor booths without breaking the bank.

Exciting Activities Await!

In a special partnership with the Moose Jaw Gamers Association (MJGA), the event will feature a ‘retro corner’ with free board games, classic consoles, and even pinball machines! Attendees can also indulge in a giant screen showcasing nostalgic cartoons, movies, and music videos from the '80s and '90s. As Dormer aptly stated, it’s all about transporting people back to the golden age of gaming.

The team defines ‘retro games’ as anything older than two generations—think Xbox 360 and N64, which might make some feel a bit older—but also reflects the nostalgia factor that makes this event unique. And who knows? Future conventions might even include classic board and card games!
