According to the Vancouver Police Department, this reckless behaviour falls under the ominous category of "High-Risk Driving." A stark reminder posted on Twitter/X warned the public about the perils of high-speed riding: "136 km/h in a 50 zone is also classified as High-Risk Driving."

The high-speed chase came to an end on the 7100 block of Granville, right by St. Stephen's United Church. It was here that the audacious rider was pulled over and slapped with a hefty $483 fine for their excessive speed—their only offense recorded during this wild ride.

With the bike now impounded, the owner faces additional costs to retrieve their speed machine, which could soar into the hundreds based on towing distance and other fees.
