Get ready for a fresh take on time management! Ahead of the highly anticipated Material 3 Expressive launch scheduled for I/O 2025, a stunning redesign of the Google Clock app has made its way into the public eye.

Shared by the ever-reliable Mystic Leaks, the new screenshots showcase a sleeker bottom navigation bar featuring a slimmer pill-shaped indicator. Iconic changes are in play—"Clock" is now rebranded as "World Clock," while the tabs have been revamped to "Alarms" and "Timers."

The Alarms tab retains the big floating action button (FAB), now stylishly transformed into a rounded square in the bottom-right corner. Setting or editing an alarm has never been easier with a user-friendly overlay that includes time selection, alarm name, sound options, vibrate settings, a weather forecast, and Google Assistant routines. A chic new font runs throughout the app, reinforcing a sleek aesthetic.

But that’s not all! Active alarms sport a vibrant background highlight, enhancing visibility. The "Dismiss" button takes center stage with increased prominence, while the toggles have been redesigned to fit the refined Material 3 style.

For the Timers section, users can now set names right off the bat, making it more personalized. Gone is the generic "play" icon, replaced by a clear "Start" button. Plus, the active timer interface features a smart redesign that tucks the play/pause function right into a circular display.

In terms of the Stopwatch, the circular display has been simplified to just digits, while buttons for Stop, Reset, and Lap have been enlarged and transformed into straightforward text options.

As for the Bedtime tab, it appears to have shunned dramatic changes, leaving some to wonder about the fate of the World Clock feature, which remains under wraps. Notably, the entire redesigned Clock app is reportedly built using Jetpack Compose, Google’s modern toolkit for crafting intuitive native UI.
