In an exciting announcement, officials from Marriott International, Louson Investments Ltd., Truman, and the Calgary Municipal Land Corp. revealed breathtaking designs for the towering 69-storey W Calgary and the 62-storey JW Marriott Calgary. These architectural marvels will rise majestically from a city-owned site across Macleod Trail, adjacent to the bustling Victoria Park-Stampede LRT station.

These groundbreaking high-rises will feature an impressive blend of over 400 hotel rooms and 360 residential units, all just a short stroll from the BMO Centre and the renowned Stampede grounds. Subject to city and council approval for rezoning and development permits, the towers could break ground as early as next year, with doors opening in 2029 and 2030.
