In a terrifying twist of fate, two social media influencers found themselves in a life-threatening situation when an SUV barreled through a restaurant window during their food review. The jaw-dropping moment was caught on film, illustrating just how quickly life can change.

Nina Santiago, known online as NinaUnrated, and her friend Patrick Blackwood were enjoying sliders at Cuvees Culinary Creations in Houston, Texas, on August 16 at around 4:40 p.m. Their light-hearted meal took a shocking turn when an SUV crashed into the restaurant, nearly hitting them at their booth.

"Tomorrow Is NOT Promised…" Santiago posted on X after the incident, sharing her injuries from the shattered glass, including cuts on her arms and face.

In a heartfelt Instagram update, she wrote about the chaos: "I am beyond grateful to be alive after an SUV crashed through the glass wall at @cuveesculinarycreations... it hit us directly — I was on his left and he was on my right as I bit into a delicious salmon slider. Out of nowhere, but we survived."

Santiago reflected on the experience, emphasizing that life is too short for negativity: "Let go, forgive, live in the now, and cherish those around you. This could’ve been our last meal."

Blackwood also shared a message on Instagram, expressing his gratitude: "Grateful to see another day, walking away from the small stuff with a big purpose. Live bold, love deep, and make every moment count."

Authorities reported that the female driver thought she had engaged the vehicle's parking mode; instead, it rolled into the restaurant, striking the building and causing significant damage. Thankfully, Santiago and Blackwood sustained only minor injuries.

In a YouTube video discussing the startling event, the duo said, "We were laughing, having a great time, and right as we tapped our sliders together for a ‘boom!’ cheers moment, out of nowhere, this SUV came barreling through the glass wall at 35-40 mph. No warning at all; glass shattered everywhere, chaos erupted, and it hit right next to Patrick. We were inches from disaster, but by some miracle, we’re both okay, just shaken and forever changed."

This harrowing experience serves as a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment.
