In the wake of UFC 314, Sean O’Malley is stepping into the matchmaking spotlight, and he has a thrilling vision for Paddy Pimblett's next fight.

This past Saturday, O’Malley watched as Pimblett delivered a spectacular performance, dismantling Michael Chandler to secure the biggest victory of his career in Miami, Florida.

While the buzz around 'The Baddy' has him eyeing a showdown with former champion Charles Oliveira, O’Malley believes there's an even more exciting matchup on the horizon.

O’Malley Proposes a Superfight!

Immediately after witnessing Pimblett’s jaw-dropping TKO win, O’Malley couldn’t contain his excitement.

“Damn! Paddy beats Michael Chandler,” he exclaimed during a live video on his YouTube channel. “Wow! That was f***ing impressive; he looked f***ing sharp.

As discussions about Pimblett's next opponent swirled, which included names like Oliveira and Ilia Topuria, O’Malley threw down the gauntlet.

He boldly suggested to UFC CEO Dana White, "Boys, Conor McGregor vs Paddy Pimblett is the fight to make. It needs to happen right now. Let's make it happen, Uncle Dana. Paddy vs Conor at 190lbs. F*** it! Let them both be fat.”

What’s Next for Sean O’Malley?

While O’Malley is advocating for Pimblett’s future, he himself is gearing up for a pivotal rematch. The 30-year-old hasn't faced the octagon since losing his bantamweight title to Merab Dvalishvili last September in a decision that left fans buzzing.

Despite that setback, he's been granted a rematch against Dvalishvili, scheduled to headline UFC 316 on June 7 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

"The rematch is official: 'Suga' Sean vs Merab 2 is happening, and I don't think people are gonna be too happy about it," O’Malley confessed. He reflected on the challenges of their first fight and expressed optimism for the upcoming bout.

"This camp has already been a lot different, and I’m feeling good. Super excited to be able to go out there and take care of business. I feel like a lot of the changes I've made will enhance my performance.”
