Munsch stressed that no date has been set for MAID, as Canadian law stipulates that patients must actively consent at the moment of their passing. "I have to pick the moment when I can still ask for it," he shared.

"They kept him alive through all these interventions,” Munsch recalled, expressing a wish for dignity in death.
