Exciting news for music lovers! Following its recent AI and gaming enhancements, Google is unveiling a fantastic new feature: Song Search history for Circle to Search on Android!
Now, when you hit the music icon in the Circle to Search bar, a sleek clock icon will appear in the corner. Click on it, and voilà—the "Recent song searches" page pops up, displaying a visually appealing grid of cover art that captures the song, artist, and the date you searched for it.
But that’s not all! Each song search leads you directly to a Google Search results page for that track—making it easier than ever to explore your favorite tunes.
With this update, you get access to 10 recent searches organized by month. Want to see more? Just hit "Show full history" at the bottom, and you'll be directed to your My Activity page, although it won't have the colorful artwork.
This handy feature is also integrated into the "Song Search" app and homescreen shortcut. While this functionality first launched for iOS back in February, it's now making its way to Android users and is rolling out in both beta and stable channels with the Google app version 16.27.
If you’re not seeing the feature yet, a quick force stop from the App info might do the trick!
