Revolutionary Mobile Upper Respiratory Access Clinic Launching in Sydney! Don’t Miss Your Chance!

The highly-anticipated Mobile Upper Respiratory Access Clinic is set to make waves in the healthcare scene of Sydney! Mark your calendars for Thursday, January 23, 2025, as the clinic rolls out at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital's Ambulatory Care Clinic, located at 1482 George Street.

When will it be available?

The clinic will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., but hold on! This isn't your average walk-in clinic. To ensure you get the care you need, you must schedule an appointment by calling 902-574-3275. The phone lines will open at 3:30 p.m. on the day of the clinic, so make sure to grab your spot early as appointments are limited. Keep in mind that hospital parking rates do apply, which is $3 for the evening.

What kind of health issues can be addressed?

This clinic is specially designed to tackle non-urgent, low-acuity respiratory issues, meaning it’s perfect for those pesky conditions that aren’t life-threatening but still require attention. If you’re experiencing symptoms such as:

- Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) - Influenza - COVID-19 - Shortness of breath - Persistent cough - Ear pain - Sore throat

… then this clinic is for you!

What to expect upon arrival?

Don’t forget to bring your health card! On arrival, you will be asked about your symptoms to ensure that the clinic can adequately address your concerns.
