Born in Preston, England, on February 14, 1973, Lindsay moved to Canada with her family on December 26, 1980. This transition marked the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in her life, one enriched by the diverse landscapes and cultures she would encounter in her adopted homeland.
Lindsay was not only a loving mother to her two children, Kingston and Charley, but also an exceptionally talented photographer. Her passion for photography shone brightly, particularly during her beloved trips to the Cayman Islands, where she skillfully captured the islands' breathtaking natural beauty. Friends and family often remarked on her incredible ability to immortalize precious moments, showcasing the beauty within everyone who stood before her lens.
Her radiant smile and vibrant spirit were unforgettable to all who knew her. A deeply spiritual and compassionate individual, Lindsay dedicated herself to the well-being of others, living her life with kindness, grace, and an unwavering commitment to helping those around her.
Lindsay leaves behind her devoted parents, Elizabeth and Rodney, as well as her loving brother, Nicholas, and sister-in-law Tara, along with her cherished nieces, Rebecca and Lena. Her passing is also felt profoundly by an extended network of family and friends, who have been steadfast in their support throughout her life.
In honoring Lindsay’s memory, a memorial gathering will be held at Smith's Funeral Home, located at 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on January 10, 2025, from 4 - 7 PM, with tributes scheduled for 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to the Princess Margaret Hospital or the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, organizations that reflect Lindsay’s nurturing spirit.
