A Life of Love and Family
Dot's life was defined by her incredible dedication to family and her indomitable spirit. She was married to her loving husband, Albert "Ab" Miles, for an extraordinary 76 years. Their unbreakable bond is a testament to enduring love. She was predeceased by her cherished daughter, Patty Upham, and three of her sisters: Edna Murray, Mary MacLaggan, and Joanne Harris.
Legacy and Survivors
Dot was the proud matriarch of a large family, including her surviving children: Abbie Miles (Diane), Dorothy Hughes (Hazen), Terri Sinclair (Don), Marx Miles (Lynn), and Nancy Lloyd (Mayhew). She took immense joy in her legacy, which includes 18 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Her deep faith in God was a source of great peace and joy throughout her life, shaping her values and nurturing her relationships.

The summer days spent with family at Grand Lake were among Dot's most treasured memories, highlighting her love for nature and her family gatherings.
Funeral Arrangements
A visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home, located at 540 Woodstock, on Saturday, November 9th from 5-7 PM. The funeral service will take place in the Chapel of Bishop's Funeral Home on Sunday, November 10th at 2 PM, with interment to follow at the Fredericton Rural Cemetery. Friends and family are also invited to gather for a reception at the funeral home immediately after the interment.
For those unable to attend in person, the funeral service will be livestreamed, allowing loved ones to share in the celebration of Dot's life from afar.
