OTTAWA — In a jaw-dropping finale, the Ottawa REDBLACKS snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, overcoming a ten-point halftime deficit to triumph 34-33 against the BC Lions. Quarterback Dustin Crum was the hero of the night, delivering a sensational touchdown pass to Eugene Lewis in the final seconds.

Trailing 13-3 at the break, the REDBLACKS erupted in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Lions 18-6, securing a vital win that keeps their playoff dreams alive. Crum not only threw for 301 yards but also rushed for two second-half touchdowns, showcasing his versatility and determination.

Kalil Pimpleton emerged as Crum's go-to receiver, racking up 95 yards on seven catches, highlighted by a game-changing 52-yard reception that set up Lewis’s pivotal touchdown.

On the flip side, the Lions are now reeling from two consecutive losses despite Nathan Rourke's impressive 284 passing yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, marking a disappointing turn for a team once viewed as a formidable contender.
