Exciting news for Ontarians! Starting at the end of September, those in high-risk and priority groups will have the chance to receive their COVID-19 and flu vaccines. The Ontario government has officially announced the launch of its fall immunization program, kicking off the week of September 22.
Who Can Get Vaccinated First?
High-risk groups, including hospitalized patients, healthcare workers, residents and staff in long-term care facilities, and individuals aged 65 and older, are at the front of the line for the vaccinations.
RSV Vaccines Also Available!
On the same day, those aged 60 to 74 who meet designated high-risk criteria will also be eligible to receive the RSV vaccine, along with everyone 75 and older. Don’t miss out!
When Can Everyone Else Get Vaccinated?
The vaccination rollout for the general public is set for October 27. This means you can head to pharmacies, public health clinics, or participating doctor’s offices to get your flu shot and COVID-19 vaccine.
