This record-shattering hit, which took place in the third inning, marked the hardest-hit ball ever recorded in MLB Statcast history since its inception in 2015. Cruz smashed a 92.2 mph four-seam fastball from Brewers pitcher Logan Henderson straight into the history books.

According to MLB.com's Will Aldrich, Cruz not only broke the previous Statcast record for hardest hit overall but also eclipsed his own previous best of 122.4 mph from an August 2022 game.
