Authorities are urgently searching for a suspect after a frightening gun threat incident unfolded in North York this past Thursday.

The Disturbing Details

Around 4:30 p.m., officers from the Toronto Police Service (TPS) were dispatched to the area of St. Dennis Drive and Deauville Lane, close to Don Mills Road, following reports of a firearm-related threat.

Witnesses report that the man approached an unsuspecting individual on the street and initiated a conversation. Things took a chilling turn when the suspect revealed what appeared to be a firearm hidden in his waistband and ominously threatened to shoot.

After making the threat, the suspect fled the scene on foot, last spotted heading north on Deauville Lane.

Description of the Suspect

Police are on the lookout for a male between the ages of 20 and 25, approximately five-foot-eight, with a medium build. At the time of the incident, he was dressed in a black facemask, black sweater, blue/black pants, and black shoes.
