It’s a showdown you didn’t see coming! Jack Osbourne has stepped into the ring against Roger Waters, the iconic Pink Floyd co-founder, after Waters publicly dissed his father, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.

In a scathing interview, Waters casually dismissed Black Sabbath, claiming he never cared about them and couldn’t give a “f*ck” about Ozzy. The remarks ignited a firestorm, prompting Jack to take to social media with an explosive response.

"Hey Roger Waters, f*ck you!" Jack declared in a fiery Instagram post. "How pathetic and out of touch you've become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by spilling nonsense in the press." He didn’t stop there, adding, "My father always thought you were a c*nt. Thanks for proving him right," along with the hashtag #fuckrogerwaters.

In his controversial chat with The Independent Ink, Waters insulted the Ozzy legacy further, stating, “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever state that he was in his whole life... I couldn’t care less.” Waters also mockingly referred to Ozzy’s infamous bat-biting act, a moment of saucy rock history that’s often misunderstood as part of Black Sabbath’s story.

Ozzy passed away on July 22 at the age of 76, succumbing to a heart attack complicated by a history of coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s. His death certificate, filed by daughter Aimee, rightfully described him as a 'Songwriter, Performer, and Rock Legend'.

While Ozzy held Pink Floyd in high regard, famously calling their track 'Money' one of his favorites in a 2004 Rolling Stone interview, Waters has had a long-standing disdain for Black Sabbath. In fact, he famously trashed their debut single 'Evil Woman' back in 1970, leaving fans wondering why the animosity runs so deep.

With tensions boiling over in the rock world, it’s clear that this feud isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The clash of these rock titans reminds us that in the battle of the bands, words can be just as powerful as the music.
