Now, you can create device-specific shortcuts that reflect how you manage your home. Imagine having quick access to your security cameras on Google TV, your kitchen speaker on your Android phone, and your thermostat on your Wear OS smartwatch—all at your fingertips!

How to Set Up Your Custom Favorites!

Getting started is simple! Just open the Google Home app on your smartwatch and scroll to the ‘Edit’ button. A tap on ‘Open on phone’ will bring up a neatly organized page featuring Actions, Automations, and Devices sorted by rooms.

Add or remove the devices you want to customize, or skip ahead by hitting ‘Next.’ You’ll then be able to ‘Reorder favorites’ as you see fit—once you’re satisfied, just tap ‘Save!’

Stay Updated with Ease!

If your Favorites feed doesn’t update right away, simply pull down on your watch to refresh. Plus, this fantastic feature is also integrated into the Wear OS Tile for quick access!

This exciting update can be found in Google Home version 2.78.4.2 on Wear OS and 3.35.55.0 on smartphones participating in the Public Preview program. Note that customization options for the Google TV Home Panel are still on the horizon.
