Google Expands Its Pollen Tracker Feature to the US
After an exciting rollout in five countries, Google is finally bringing its innovative Pixel Weather pollen tracker to users across the United States!
This new feature showcases a large, eye-catching Pollen card at the bottom of your city view, spanning the entire width of your screen. Just like the Hourly Forecast and 10-Day Forecast widgets, it seamlessly integrates into your daily weather updates.
What to Expect: Color-Coded Pollen Levels!
In the US, this dynamic card uses a color-coded gauge system from 0 to 4 for Grass, Tree, and Weed pollen levels. If you’re someone who suffers from allergies, you can easily drag this card to the top of your screen to keep this essential information front and center.
A simple tap on the card unveils a fullscreen interface that defaults to Grass pollen, providing you with a detailed five-day forecast packed with specific information.
A Global Rollout for a Universal Need!
Initially, the pollen tracker launched in the UK, Germany, France, and Italy as part of the October 2024 Feature Drop, followed by its introduction in Japan during the March 2025 Pixel Drop. Now, it's America’s turn!
Keep in mind that not every Pixel device has received this update yet. It’s a phased, server-side rollout linked to the latest app version (1.0.20250315.x). If you’re one of the lucky ones, the Pollen card will appear for any location within the US.
