Georgia Democrats Sue MAGA-Favoring Election Board as 2024 Approaches: What's at Stake?

As the countdown to the 2024 presidential election intensifies, tensions are escalating within the Georgia electoral landscape. Cathy Woolard, a former chair of the Fulton County Board of Registration & Elections, stated in the petition, "We have a board that appears to be running amok, and we have one avenue, the governor, for removing them in instances when they are breaking the law. We simply must take this action in order to attempt to force him to do his job."
