Gboard's Latest Update: Customize Your Keyboard Like Never Before!

Get ready to elevate your typing experience! Gboard is rolling out a brand-new feature that allows you to set your own keyboard font size, ensuring your texting comfort is just a tap away.

With this update, users will see a notification banner announcing "Keyboard font size updated" once the feature becomes available on their devices. Simply tap the gear icon to navigate to Settings > Preferences > Font size, located under the Appearance section.

Choose Your Perfect Size!

The default setting is "Match System," but you can choose from various increments ranging from 85% all the way up to a whopping 200%! This means whether you prefer tiny text for a minimalistic look or larger letters for better readability, Gboard has got you covered.

Visual Tweaks and Adjustments

Not only does the font size adjust the letters and numbers on each key, but it also modifies the tool icons in the suggestion strip. Imagine typing with a keyboard that perfectly suits your eyesight!

Keep Your Emojis Intact!

It’s important to note that changing the font size won’t impact the emoji themselves—only the category titles will adjust. So, your favorite emojis will remain the same size, keeping the fun intact!

A Feature for Everyone!

This customization option allows you to tweak Gboard’s size independently from Android's global display settings, providing a more tailored typing experience. Currently, this feature is making its way to users running the latest Gboard beta version 15.9, although it's still in the early stages of the rollout.

Stay Tuned for More!

As Gboard continues to innovate, stay tuned for further enhancements that will transform your typing experience.
