The drama unfolded just before 8 p.m. when officers received a report of a vehicle that had veered off the road and into a ditch on Asphodel 3rd Line. Responding quickly, the OPP arrived at the scene to find a disoriented driver.

Upon speaking with the driver, they suspected alcohol played a significant role in the wreck. The individual was promptly arrested and taken to the OPP detachment for further tests to confirm their level of impairment.
