Who Are Lily and Jack?

Lily and Jack Sullivan, aged six and four, vanished on May 2 at approximately 10 a.m. from their family home in Lansdowne Station, located about 30 kilometers from New Glasgow.

Over 160 volunteers, including search dogs, helicopters, and drones, have rallied to scour the dense woods, showcasing community spirit in dire times.

Stepfather Urges Broader Search Operations

In a heartfelt plea, the children’s stepfather, Daniel Martell, has urged authorities to expand the search area beyond provincial borders and airports, fearing the unthinkable might have happened.

"Post any officers they can get, at the New Brunswick border and P.E.I. ... and get them out at every airport possible," Martell implored, seeking help from anyone who might have information.

Authorities' Stance

Despite the urgency, the RCMP have found no evidence suggesting abduction, believing instead that the children accidentally wandered off. This belief has prevented an Amber Alert from being issued, but a Vulnerable Missing Person Alert was dispatched on the same day they were reported missing.

Family's Heartache

Martell indicated that his family has been the sole presence at the search site, as the children’s mother, Malehya Brooks-Murray, left the county shortly after the incident. She refrained from commenting further, as advised by the RCMP.

The children's grandmother, Cyndy Murray, shared the family’s hope for a positive outcome, remarking, "We’re just hoping and praying for the best — that’s it — for our babies to come home."

Lily is described as having shoulder-length light brown hair with bangs, possibly wearing a pink sweater, pink pants, and pink boots, and carrying a white backpack adorned with strawberries. Jack is identified by his short blond hair and blue dinosaur boots, reportedly dressed in a brown shirt and pants.
