The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) issued an arrest warrant for the 33-year-old suspect after he violently assaulted a woman at a residence in the east end. The drama unfolded around 4:30 PM yesterday when an alert officer on patrol near Blackwood Place spotted the fugitive strolling nonchalantly down the street. The moment was tense as the wanted man took off running, prompting a thrilling chase through the neighborhood.
