"Our porphyrin-based nanosheets are formed through sophisticated interfacial reactions, utilizing the Marangoni effect to create an orderly mesh structure," says senior author Kazuyuki Ishii. "They are then compressed and carefully applied onto the nanofiber-modified fabric using an advanced stamping technique."
Test Results Exceed Expectations!
In rigorous tests akin to those performed on N95 masks, this innovative filter showcased remarkable particle filtration capabilities, capturing particles as small as viruses with an impressive efficiency rate of 96%. This exceeds the 95% threshold required for N95 certification, proving its superior performance.
