Aim for a range between 500 to 900 words to keep your audience engaged. Start with a punchy hook—something that grabs attention right from the first line! Remember, your article should resonate on a personal or creative level. Don't forget to enrich your piece with hyperlinks to external sources, allowing curious minds to dig deeper. Use clear, accessible language and make sure to explain any scientific terms that might stump your readers.

Top-notch submissions that are fresh and relevant are key, so take a moment to browse through existing content to ensure your topic hasn’t been covered. Standing out is essential!

2. Complete Your Submission Checklist

Before hitting ‘send,’ make sure your article includes all the necessary elements: - **Title**: The gateway to your article—make it catchy yet descriptive! - **DEK**: This is a snappy subheader that stirs interest just below the title. - **Byline**: Share a brief two-sentence blurb about yourself! Include your studies and anything you want readers to know. - **Keywords**: Enhance your article’s searchability by including relevant keywords. - **Image (Optional)**: If you have a compelling image in mind, suggest it! Ensure it’s not copyrighted and fits the dimensions of 960 x 420 pixels.
