Patrons lined up for the special Batter’s Box dinners, with half of all proceeds from the sales going directly to the Canadian Red Cross. This heartwarming initiative resulted in nearly a quarter of a million dollars raised—an impressive $218,137.41 to be exact!

But that’s not all—the provincial and federal governments are stepping up to the plate, pledging to match every dollar raised, effectively tripling the funds to assist those in need. This means that the combined support could reach an astounding $654,412.23!
