According to the RM Sotheby’s listing, Senna collected this treasure directly from the Mercedes-Benz factory, accompanied by his friend Maurício Gugelmin. Over the two years he owned it, he logged 24,862 miles, evidenced by the last service invoice prior to its sale.

From Senna to New Homes!

In 1987, Senna sold the 190 E, anticipating his move to Monaco after signing with McLaren. The car later found its way to Robin Clark in 1996, a friend of Senna’s manager, Julian Jakobi.

A Legacy Cut Short!

This extraordinary vehicle hails from the same year Senna began his F1 career, making his debut at the Brazilian Grand Prix. Despite starting in 17th position, a failed turbocharger ended his race prematurely. Yet, his record is unparalleled: three world championships, 41 grand prix wins, 80 podium finishes, and 65 pole positions before his tragic passing in 1994.
