In a surprising move, Apple has yanked another ad just one day after its release, marking this as the fourth ad to be removed in a little over a year. The ad, titled 'The Parent Presentation', featured comedian Martin Herlihy humorously advising students on how to persuade their parents to invest in a Mac.

The ad made its debut on Friday but was mysteriously pulled from YouTube and Apple's college student webpage by Saturday. Alongside the ad, Apple had shared a substantial 81-slide presentation template promising '45 undeniable reasons why a Mac is essential for college,' which is still available for those eager to download.

This isn't the first time Apple has faced backlash for its promotional content. Last May, the tech giant issued an apology over their 'Crush!' commercial, which infamously featured a hydraulic press flattening artistic tools, only to reveal the iPad Pro at the end. This ad was heavily criticized and swiftly removed from both television and YouTube.

Later on, a 10-minute ad titled 'Out of Office OOO' was scrapped after it drew ire from critics in Thailand for perpetuating outdated stereotypes about the country. Then, in March of this year, an ambitious iPhone 16 ad starring Bella Ramsey was pulled for showcasing AI features that hadn't yet been released.

What's particularly perplexing about the removal of 'The Parent Presentation' is the lack of a clear explanation. Some social media users have deemed it 'cringe-worthy' and raised doubts over its target audience. As of now, Apple has yet to address the situation, leaving everyone guessing.

With Apple’s history of pulling ads, the question remains: what will be the next project to fall under scrutiny? Stay tuned as this story develops!
